Iowa Engineering Society Scholarship
- Attached is an application form for a scholarship that the Iowa Engineering Society’s Central Iowa Chapter gives out on an annual basis to a 2025 college freshman who is enrolled in an engineering program at an Iowa ABET accredited Engineering school. Our chapter represents Professional Engineers covering 19 central Iowa counties. They are as follows: Adair, Boone, Clarke, Dallas, Decatur, Greene, Guthrie, Hamilton, Humboldt, Jasper, Madison, Marshall, Polk, Ringgold, Story, Union, Warren, Webster, and Wright. This local scholarship program is financed in total by the Central Iowa Chapter of the Iowa Engineering Society.

IHERF Health Care Careers Scholarship Program
- The IHERF scholarship program focuses on students pursuing high-demand health care positions. In exchange, postsecondary scholarship recipients must work one year in an Iowa hospital for each year of their scholarship award. The $1000 award recipients must work on year with a hospital-based or hospital-contracted emergency medical service. High school recipients are not required to work for an Iowa hospital after graduation.
- These scholarship are intended for students whose academic performances support them being successful in college, and they could benefit from a scholarship to start a health-care related area of study. Selected high schools will nominate a student for the scholarship.
- The IHERF scholarship program focuses on students pursuing high-demand health care positions.
